How the site supports different ways to play
Keyboard controls
Press Space to switch sides, P to pause or resume, R to reset after confirmation, and S to open settings. Each timer is a large button, so the primary clock also works without a pointer.
Visual and motion support
Each timer keeps a persistent side label and uses more than color to show the active player. The interface uses tabular digits for stable countdowns, supports a higher-contrast preference and honors the operating system's reduced-motion setting.
Assistive technology
A live status region announces meaningful clock changes without reading every second. Interactive controls use native buttons, labels and visible keyboard focus. Sound and screen wake lock are optional rather than required feedback.
